Events I film in DFW
Galas, fundraisers and charity events. Speeches, honorees, the room at its peak and the donor film that makes next year's ask easier. For the Texas Valor Project I delivered both a short teaser and a full-length film.
Brand activations and launch parties. Product reveals, pop-ups, tastings and influencer nights, cut for Instagram and TikTok first. Thrillist x LunAzul at Topgolf Dallas is a good example.
Conferences, summits and trade shows. Keynotes, booth traffic, sponsor content and attendee soundbites, plus clean session recordings. Corporate event coverage →
Cultural and private events. Le Dîner en Blanc Dallas, museum and foundation events, private receptions and anniversaries, filmed discreetly so guests forget the camera is there.
Concerts and live performance. Multi-camera sets, festival and club recaps, and live sessions for artists. Music video director →
How I cover an event so nothing important is missed
An event happens once. There is no second take of the keynote, the award moment or the first dance floor rush, so the job is planning: knowing the run of show, where the light is, where the speeches come from and which ten seconds the client will want in the recap.
You deal with me from the first call to the final file. I scout or review the venue, agree a shot list with you, run camera and audio on the day and cut the recap myself in DaVinci Resolve, so nothing is lost in a hand-off.
Because I also direct commercials and shoot as a cinematographer, your event video looks like a brand film rather than a phone montage: lit faces, clean sound and an edit with pace.
Common reasons Dallas organizers call me: a gala needs a donor film for next year; a brand launch needs same-week social content; a conference needs a highlight reel plus every keynote recorded; a nonprofit needs a story told from one evening.

How an event shoot works
Before. A 15-minute call, then a one-page plan: run of show, must-get moments, speaker list, audio setup and delivery formats.
On the day. I arrive 60–90 minutes before doors to light key areas and test audio, then cover the event start to finish.
After. Recap cut in under a week, two rounds of revisions, delivery in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 with captions, plus full-length recordings if booked.
Frequently asked questions
How early do you arrive?
Sixty to ninety minutes before doors, so lighting, audio and the run of show are locked before the first guest walks in.
Can you capture clean audio from speeches and the stage?
Yes. I take a feed from the venue soundboard and back it up with a wireless mic or a separate recorder, so toasts, keynotes and award speeches are usable.
Do you bring a second camera?
When two things happen at once (stage and room, or a keynote and the sponsor floor), I add a second shooter. Smaller events are covered solo.
How fast do I get the recap?
The recap cut arrives in under a week. A short teaser for social can be turned around sooner if you tell me before the event.
Can you record full-length sessions too?
Yes. Clean, full-length recordings of keynotes, panels and performances can be delivered alongside the recap.
Do you film weddings?
No. I film brand, nonprofit, cultural and corporate events.
Do you travel for events?
Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco and the rest of DFW have no travel fee. I travel nationwide for multi-day events.
Who owns the footage?
You do. Raw footage is archived for 12 months and available on request.
