Dallas Music Video Director for Artists, Bands and Labels
I direct, shoot and color music videos in Dallas for independent artists, bands and labels, including Parrish Tha Great's Play to Win, The J.D. Scott Band's Friday Night (Sunset Remix), Dustin Perkins' Dashboard Lights and SHAB's Santa Baby. Seventeen years behind a RED cinema camera, 20+ international film awards, and I produce and DJ myself, so the cut follows the music.

Music videos and artist content I make
Performance videos. The artist or band lit and shot like a commercial, cut on the beat, with camera moves planned around the song's structure.
Narrative and concept videos. Treatment, casting, locations and storyboard from a director whose short film Poolside won a Platinum Remi and more than 20 festival awards.
Vertical cuts and teasers. Reels, TikTok and Shorts edits from the same shoot, so the release has content for weeks, not one post.
Live sessions and concert content. Multi-camera live sessions, show recaps and festival content. Dallas event videographer →
Artist promo and press assets. Short promo films and stills for press kits, booking pages and streaming profiles. Still photography →
Why artists work with a director who also shoots
A music video has one job: make people replay the song and remember the artist. That takes an idea that fits the track, images that look expensive and an edit that moves with the music. Splitting those between a director, a DP and an editor who never talk is where most low-budget videos fall apart.
I write the treatment, light and shoot the video, and edit and grade it in DaVinci Resolve. You deal with one person from the first listen to the final export. When a concept needs more (dancers, art department, a larger crew), I scale up and direct it.
Because I shoot as a cinematographer on commercials for brands like Mercedes-Benz and Hublot, the same cinema cameras, lenses and lighting go into your video.

How a music video shoot works
1. Listen and talk. A call about the song, the artist and where the video will live.
2. Treatment. A written concept with references, locations, wardrobe notes and a shot plan.
3. Shoot. One day for most performance videos, two for narrative pieces, with the full camera and lighting package.
4. Edit and color. A first cut, two rounds of revisions, the final grade and delivery in every format your release needs.
Frequently asked questions
Do you write the treatment?
Yes. After a call about the song, I send a written treatment with references, locations and a shot plan before anything is booked.
Can you work with an independent artist's budget?
Yes. I scope the idea to the budget. One strong location and a well-lit performance often beats a stretched narrative.
How long does a music video shoot take?
Most performance videos shoot in one day. Narrative videos with several locations usually take two.
Do you handle editing and color grading?
Yes. I edit and grade in DaVinci Resolve, so the look planned on set is the look you release.
Can I get vertical versions for Reels, TikTok and Shorts?
Yes. Vertical cuts and short teasers from the same shoot can be part of the delivery.
Can you help find locations in Dallas?
Yes. I've shot across DFW, from downtown rooftops to warehouses and open Texas land, and can suggest locations that fit the song.
Do you shoot outside Dallas?
Yes. DFW has no travel fee and I travel for artists and labels nationwide.
